Glamping Slívka

A small escape to a place
where time moves slower.

01 — Story

It's not just
a place to sleep.

Glamping Slívka is reborn as a symbol of new beginnings. A place where you can create, relax, slow down and be in harmony with nature. Plum orchards have been with us throughout our whole lives, all year round, in Moravia.

As children we helped gather plums for the must. As we grew older, we made preserves from them. Our parents taught us how to care for the trees. We learned to keep sheep, who help us with the grass beneath the cabin.

Slívka is the symbol that we have learned all of this. And just as our ancestors sat down after work, with a view of Moravian Slovácko, rested and ate bread with lard, we invite you to sit with us, take joy and simply be.

Nature first — Glamping Slívka

02

Nature first

Our accommodation is fully self-sufficient — electricity is generated by solar panels. Guests can sort waste. We support the circular economy, so in the spirit of sustainability the packaging for our products comes from sustainable sources and every package has its own history. All our products come from local sources and either we made them ourselves or we supported other local producers.

Wooden chest — Grandma's pantry in the orchard

    04 — Grandma's pantry

    A small pantry
    full of local products.

On the wooden shelf you'll find honey from the village beekeeper, dried apples from the orchard, baked tea, nuts, jams and three salts — glamping chilli, thyme and garden. And, for complete quiet, meditation eye masks made with lavender. All of it from people we know by name.

For us, producing local goods means connecting the passion to create something with a love for food and our own production. We change the contents of the pantry according to seasonality and the surrounding temperature, so that we can always guarantee the highest quality.

Nobody is watching the till. If you are unable to pay by QR code, don't worry — you can leave cash in the pantry, or we can send you an invoice after your stay.

    06

    Drying

We sowed, grew, harvested and carefully dried the herbs that go into our salts.

    07

    Nettle and lemon balm tea

Nettle tea is excellent for supporting detoxification, drainage and proper kidney function. It helps relieve fatigue, supports metabolism, reduces inflammation in the body (e.g. with rheumatism or joint pain) and contributes to maintaining normal blood sugar levels. Lemon balm tea mainly helps with insomnia, reduces stress and anxiety, releases muscular and nervous tension and supports proper digestion. It also eases bloating, calms the stomach and, thanks to its aromatic essential oils, induces overall mental wellbeing. Both teas are free for you throughout your stay.

    08

    Making salt

We add Celtic salt to our salts. Thanks to the way it is harvested and its properties, it has a very beneficial effect on our health, retaining most of the minerals contained in seawater that are beneficial to our health. It is hand-harvested in Brittany and dried only by wind and sun.
